Nepal is the landlocked south Asian's youngest republic nation bordered between people's republic of china and republic of India an area of 147181 KM ². Nepal is very rich in its geography, natural beauties, culture, customs, religion( mix of Buddhism and Hinduism), ancient temples, shrines, Monasteries and so on. Its geographical landscape is very unique and elevation of the country ranges from 70 Meter to 8848 Meter (highest point of the planet). Within a distance of 175 KM  climatic conditions ranging from sub-tropical to arctic. Here we can find the climatic variation as temperature goes on decreasing with the increase in the altitude.It is second richest country in the world in water resources,here we have  fast-flowing rivers originated from the Himalayas with the great potential. Nepal is  also known as the home of Mount Everest and Birth Place of Gautama Buddha. More than 125 ethnic groups of people and more than 123 types of languages are spoken here in Nepal. Most people here are Gurung, Newras, Brahmins, Magars, Chettri, Rai, Limbus,Tamangs  and sherpas. NEPAL VISA

Can I obtain my Visa after arrival in Nepal?

Yes , You can obtain your entry visa in Nepal after arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.All foreign nationals (except Indians) require a visa to enter Nepal. Visas are obtainable from embassies abroad on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and at some land borders (including borders with India and Tibet).Getting a visa at the airport can sometimes take time due to long queues. There have been instances when passengers were asked to show return flight tickets. If you are thinking of taking visa at the airport or immigration entry point, following are your requirements:

A valid passport (The passport should have validity of at least six months)

You should fill the application form for visa available at airport or immigration entry points with two passport size photos

Updated Visa fees which should be paid in cash.
  • Multi entry visa valid for 15 days - US$30 or Equivalent Nepalese currency
  • Multi entry visa valid for 30 days - US$50 or Equivalent Nepalese currency
  • Multi entry visa valid for 90 days - US$125 or Equivalent Nepalese currency

If you want to extend visa within valid visa period, visa extension charge is USD 3 perday  or equivalent convertible currency.Visa is not required for Indian nationals. However, if they enter Nepal via air, they will have to show a valid identification certificate (passport/ citizenship certificate). The children under the age of 10 do not need to show identification certificate.Please note if you are staying in Nepal for less than 24 hours while in transit, a transit visa can be issued on presentation of your international flight ticket, there is a nominal charge of US$5 and one photo is required.

CLIMATE AND GEOGRAPHY OF NEPAL
In nepal winter season starts from December until February. January is the coldest month. Much colder tempreture prevails at higher altitudes.The average tempreture remains 8 Degreee celcious to 20 Degree celcious in Terai region while in the central region tempreture falls below freezing.Monsoon begins in June and last until september.Mostly rain falls occurs  in that period and rest months remains dry.July is the hotest month.

What is the best time of the year to trekking in Nepal?

In Nepal we have four seasons in a year. Basically, Autumn season(September-November) and Spring seasons(March-May)are known as best travelling season in Nepal.But best season of your travel might be differ as per your purpose and your suitable time for travelling in Nepal.

Spring Season(March-May): This is the best season for trekking and mountaineering in Nepal because of the pleasant weather with warm temperature, clear sky , dry weather , efficient sunlight and Blossoms of flowers and colourful Rhododendron on the way that makes atmosphere exquisite.

Summer Season(June-August):Generally Monsoon season is also consider good to trekking in Nepal himalaya but only the major issues might be unstable weather, so region where need to be gone by flight will be badly affect . Mostly time chances of cloudy and rainy so chances to see the view is very minor.Although weather isn't that good,those who are keen to botanist , could be good choice to exploration of many vegetation .

Autumn Season(September-November): This season is also best season for trekking in Nepal as Spring season. In this season mostly time weather will be stable with clear blue sky ,dry so the chances of delaying flights will be rare.You will always be fortunate with the spectacular mountains views.But the temperature will be starts to drop down.

Winter Season(December-February):Weather will be remaining always dry and clear but these three months are coldest time in Nepal.Traveling especially in low elevation is pleasurable even in winter but trekking in high elevation is not hightly recomanded because amazing freezing cold temperature with snow will be remaining .

I am first time for adventure,I have never trekked before, is there an age limit for trekking?

No, there is no age limitation in any kind of adventure, you only need to be physically feat and mentally prepared and positive attitude and we suggest you to please see medical consultant for neccesary permission and advice as well for travelling in altitude. Most of our itineraries are prepared to give you a maximum time to acclimatize and pace setting on the treks would be done according to your convenience.

BANKING AND FORIEGN EXCHANGE

All major cards are accepted in hotels,restaurants,shops,supermarkets and airlines companies in kathmandu and other major cities in Nepal.There are many ATMs in cities which accept cards issued by international banking networks with the limited amount of Rs 10000 in one time. Mostly lodges and hotels in Everest region also accepts credit  and debit card issued by major international banking networks with certain service charges.

What shall I have to bring while trekking in Nepal?

As we described already in our equipment list in every concerned trip in our website, besides that we suggest you to carry simple medicines such as Paracetamol, strepsils, anti diarohea tablets and diamox or suggested medicines by medical person. We have mentioned neccesary equipment list in following list but incase if you are unable to bring all belows item from your home and couldnot get time to settle up all these items we can buy or rent in Kathmandu in trekking shop with reasonable price.We recommand all our clients to make weight as light as possible. Proper travel insurance is necessary before confirming a trek. At times of emergency cases like evacuation, it will cover your expenses. Make sure to consult with your insurance company about the coverage of the insurance that you have bought.

ELECTRICITY

Is there any electricity facility during the trek?

In most of the trekking areas where we do trek, there is electricity facility.In Nepal 220-240 volts/50 HZ power is used. Sockets usually take plugs with three round pins.Some sockets take plugs with two round pins. 

CUSTOMS REGULATION AND FORMALITIES

All baggage are checked by X-ray machine on arrival and departure.After your arrival baggage should be cleared by customs. You may not import nepali rupees, Only nationals of Nepal and India may import indian currency.You are not allowed to export of antiques,if so items should be certified by the Department of Archeology.

FAQ

How long distance do we need to walk in day?

We have our fixed detailed itenerary for particular trip but there is no fixed rule to walk particular hour, it depends upon the phisical fitness and interest of the guest. Normally we trek about 5 to 6 hours per day.

Can I pay with credit cards?

Yes Visa and Master cards are mostly accepted in Nepal , and in some places along the trekking route. There are ATMS in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other big cities in Nepal that accept American Express.

What are the meals on the trek?

During trekking ,You will always be served meals in teahouses. You will be free to choose in your own interest whatever available in menu.Typical meals like Rice, Noodles, Potatoes, Pasta,Pizzas, Muesli, Porridge,Toast and Eggs.

When do I do the final payment?

The final payment must be done before the start of the trek. A full payment can be done on the time of booking or as late as after arriving in Kathmandu.

Will Somebody come to pick me up at the Airport upon my arrival?

Yes our company representative will come to meet you as soon as you landed in Kathmandu airport.We will be there with display board and have vehicle available to take you to your hotel.
