Lhasa means " the Land of God" in Tibetan language,which is  the capital city of Tibet and center of Tibets political,economic,cultural and religious activities. Lhasa is an ancient city with its time-honored 1,300 years' history. It was called 'Luosha' or 'Luoxie' which mean 'dirt-delivering-by-sheep' in the ancient times. It is said that Lhasa once was an area of low-lying marsh. In order to fill in the earth, Princess Wencheng from Tang Court used sheep to deliver dirt after her arrival at the place. Lhasa became the city's name in 9 century .Lhasa city attracts thousands of visitors yearly  all over the world with its mysterious religion and culture.  As the political,cultural and religious development all the  structures  as Potala Palace, Jokhang Monastry, Sera Monastry, Drepung Monastry were built one by one, which has formed  the  Lhasa's old down town.  There are also many options route to get to Lhasa from Kathmandu, and We the khumbu alpine travel  have been  organizing this trip in two  different  routes as per the  desires and requirements of our clients. Taking a flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu. There is at least 1 direct flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa every day (during peak tourist season, there're 2 flights). It takes around two hours to arrive in Lhasa, which is the quickest way to reach Tibet from Nepal.

Day 6: Trip to Namtso Lake

   

Day 7: Trip to Yangpachen – and back to Lhasa
