Kathmandu is the capital and largest city of Nepal. For several hundred years, kathmandu valley was one of the three rival royal cities containing with Kathmandu(Kantipur), Bhadgaon(Bhaktapur) and Patan(Lalitpur) of great historic,religious and cultural interest. Kathmandu Durbar Square

Kathmandu Durbar square indicates the nepalese art and architecure.The art, architecture and designs manifested in the pillars , windows and building of the palace are magnificent which was built during Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from 12th -18th century.This square is home to house full of woodcarving of different god and goddess which is also called Hanuman Doka ,big statue of Hanuman is stand in front of gate which derived place named Hanuman Doka.One of the most popular temples of Kathmandu Durbar Square is Kashthamandap, also known by Maru Sattal.It is believed that the name of Kathmandu city is derived from the name of this temple, and it is said that this whole temple is built by only one single tree.The most visited temple of Kathmandu is Maru Ganesh. The people of Kathmandu Valley believe that the 4 Ganesh statues in the 4 corners of Kathmandu Valley protect the people living in Kathmandu. Swayambhunath/Monkey Temple

Swayambhunath is one of the oldest popular Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu lies on the top of hill covering a large area,consist of large Buddha's Statues and Monasteries, gompas and influence of Buddhism, from where whole kathmandu valleys can be seen.We can find out as around the stupa to many monkeys live,and is the home of mokeys so it is also known as by Monkey temple which is said to have 2500 years old. Pashupatinath Temple Pashupatinath temple is the oldest Hindu's temple among the hindu pilgrims.Only hindus are allowed to enter in this temple which is in bank of Bagmati river.Pashupatinath is a temple of Lord Shiva where around too many small temples are also existed that consist of cremation center where everyday dead bodies are cremated

Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Bhaktapur is an old Newar town at the eastern part of Kathmandu and one of the most attractive part is Bhaktapur Durbar square which is grand palace build by Malla Kings .The Square houses of the 55 windows palace,Golden gate, Taleju Temple, Nyatapol Temple, national art gallery are most well known of this place.
